I am a teacher of philosophy working in London. I try to live my life according to the values found in the Gospels and the Rule of Saint Benedict.
I take strength from writers within the Eastern and Western Christian spiritual tradition such as the Desert Fathers and Mothers, Saint Benedict, Dorotheus of Gaza, Marsilio Ficino, John Cassian, Thomas Merton, Bede Griffiths, Swami Abhishiktanada, John Cassian, John Main, Luigi Giusanni and Laurence Freeman.
The blog is a space to reflect on these great teachers. It is hoped that reflections will discuss the role of silence and meditation in the spiritual life, philosophy and art.
I am a Catholic priest on the staff of Ealing Abbey
and a good friend of Eileen Dutt, who suggested I contact you. I am organising a contemplative retreat for Holy Week this year 1-4 April. Eileen thought you might be interested.
I will gladly send you details if you let me your email address.
Thanks so much for your kind email. Please do give me the details, I would very glad to hear from you.
